The popular Corn Cans, a special edition product from Busch Light adorned with corn graphics, is returning this year to reinforce the company's commitment towards supporting U.S. farmers and the non-profit organization, Farm Rescue.
This marks the third consecutive year that Busch Light will be offering its Corn Cans from May through July 3. Every purchase will trigger a 25-cent donation to Farm Rescue, with the total contribution capped at $200,000.
Farm Rescue, a dedicated entity that provides much-needed assistance to farmers and ranchers in multiple states including North Dakota, undertakes planting, harvesting, and baling hay for those who are incapacitated by illness, injury, or a natural disaster. Thanks to contributions from partners like Busch Light, it has successfully assisted nearly 1,000 farming families.
The 2023 planting season has seen Farm Rescue actively involved in seeding and planting activities for farmers. Following this, they plan to support ranchers with their haying needs in the coming month.
Highlighting Farm Rescue's crucial work in North Dakota, Dan Erdmann, Program Manager, shared about their ongoing efforts to support a farming family focusing on their teenage daughter's recovery from a serious brain injury.
The Corn Cans underscore the vital role farmers play in beer production, supplying ingredients like barley, wheat, hops, and corn, the latter being a key component in Busch Light.
Since the launch of the Corn Cans, fans have eagerly awaited the annual promotion, showing their support and enthusiasm on social media platforms like Twitter.
To date, Busch Light has generated almost $1 million for Farm Rescue through these initiatives. The non-profit continues to accept applications for assistance for 2023, encouraging those in need to reach out.
