Students and industry leaders are invited to attend the 30th annual Aldrich C. Bloomquist Lectureship on March 26. This year’s featured speaker is Marshal Albright, former president and CEO of Cass County Electric Cooperative.
The event begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m. in the Prairie Rose Ballroom inside the NDSU Memorial Union.
The lectureship is sponsored by the NDSU Quentin N. Burdick Center for Cooperatives and Aldrich C. Bloomquist Endowment, which was established by American Crystal Sugar Co.
Designed to provide university students an opportunity to hear first-hand from distinguished individuals involved in cooperatives, it also allows for cooperative employees, directors and members to network with university students looking for careers with cooperatives.
Marshal Albright, selected to present this year’s lectureship, recently retired from Cass County Electric Cooperative after 37 years. During his career, Albright served in various positions within the company including load management technician, marketing representative, marketing manager, key accounts executive, vice president of member and energy services, and president and CEO.
