NDFB announces new board members

By Scout Nelson

The North Dakota Farm Bureau (NDFB) conducted its 82nd Annual Meeting in Bismarck, electing two new members and re-electing three existing members to its Board of Directors. These leaders represent various districts and committees, ensuring the advancement of agriculture in North Dakota.

The NDFB Board includes representatives from nine districts, as well as chairs for the Promotion and Education (P&E) Committee and Young Farmer and Rancher (YF&R) Committee. These roles support agricultural policies, education, and leadership across the state.

A new director has been elected for District 2, covering several counties and focusing on crop and livestock farming. Additionally, the P&E Committee has a new chairperson who will serve a two-year term, promoting educational initiatives and community involvement in agriculture.

Three current board members have been re-elected, representing Districts 4 and 8, and the YF&R Committee. These leaders bring extensive experience in grain farming, livestock management, and mentoring young farmers, ensuring the board’s continued dedication to agriculture.

Other board positions were confirmed, including the president, vice president, and directors from remaining districts. Together, this team aims to strengthen North Dakota’s agricultural community and advocate for farmers’ needs.

The NDFB remains committed to providing strong leadership and innovative solutions to advance agriculture across the state. For more information about the board and its activities, visit the official NDFB website.
