The Pride of Dakota Advisory Council will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025. The meeting will take place in the 6th floor conference room at the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, located in the State Capitol.
The council invites interested individuals to attend. Those who want to join by phone must contact Michelle Mielke at 701-328-2233 before the meeting begins.
The focus of the meeting is to review and plan for upcoming 2025 showcase events that promote local businesses and products made in North Dakota. The agenda includes important updates and decisions about registration numbers and processes, advertising plans, and venue layout changes for the 2025 showcases.
A new and exciting feature being discussed is the Pride of Dakota Culinary Experience, a food-focused event designed to celebrate local flavors. The meeting will also cover promotional events planned for 2025 that aim to raise awareness and support for Pride of Dakota products.
Council members will review updates about the new Pride of Dakota website and changes to the program’s logo, both part of a larger plan to modernize the brand’s online and visual identity. Another key topic is the Retail Enhancement Program, which supports stores that promote local goods.
The meeting will begin with a roll call and approval of minutes from the December 2024 meeting, and it will close after the agenda items are covered.
