Top Honors Awarded at Farmer Festival

Hayley Wolf and Taylor Zenker were recognized for their outstanding contributions to agriculture during the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ag and Energy Committee's annual Farmer Appreciation Festival last week.

Hayley Wolf was named the Agricultural Woman of the Year for her dedication to ranching and agriculture. She oversees her ranching operation in Woodworth with her father while managing family life as a mother of three.

In addition to her ranching duties, Wolf is active in Triumph Inc. and the Jamestown Kiwanis Club. She has owned her herd of cattle since she was 4 years old and remains passionate about agriculture, especially cattle.

Taylor Zenker, from Gackle, received the Young Farmer of the Year Award for his leadership in transitioning his family’s farming operation in Logan County.

As a third-generation farmer and rancher, Zenker has expanded the grain operation and taken on full management responsibilities of the farm and ranch.

He is a member of the North Dakota Stockmen's Association and the American Angus Association. Zenker is known for his strong work ethic and leadership qualities

The Farmer Appreciation Festival celebrated these individuals' achievements and highlighted their significant contributions to the agricultural community. Both Wolf and Zenker exemplify dedication, leadership, and a commitment to advancing agriculture in North Dakota.
