The State Fair Center in Minot will be buzzing with activity as the Pride of Dakota Showcase returns on Friday and Saturday, October 25-26. This exciting event features more than 80 companies offering unique, locally made products from across North Dakota.

“This year’s Pride of Dakota Showcase features more than 80 companies offering unique, North Dakota-made products,” said Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. “Shoppers will find thousands of products to choose from, including gourmet food, wine, spirits, jewelry, apparel, books, pottery, and much more.”

The showcase will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and shopping bags are free, courtesy of the Bank of North Dakota College SAVE Plan, and parking is also free for all Pride of Dakota shoppers.

Retail stores are encouraged to attend and discover new products. As Goehring explained, “This is a great opportunity to purchase a few items to try in your store before establishing a wholesale order. Retailers can also support fellow North Dakota small businesses by establishing beneficial relationships.”

Shoppers and retailers alike can find a complete list of participating companies for the Minot showcase by visiting the Pride of Dakota website.

In addition to the Minot event, other Holiday Showcases will be held in Fargo, Grand Forks, and Bismarck in November and December.

The Pride of Dakota program, administered by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, helps promote local businesses by providing marketing opportunities and educational support to more than 500 member companies.
