Meet local makers at the Dakota showcase

Meet local makers at the Dakota showcase

By Scout Nelson

Join the upcoming Pride of Dakota Showcase, taking place on Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the State Fair Grounds in Minot. This exciting event, presented by the Department of Agriculture and a local bank, will be held at the Magic Place, All Seasons Arena, located at 2005 Burdick Expressway East.

Explore a wide selection of locally made products, including gourmet food, art, books, jewelry, apparel, home décor, sporting goods, children’s items, and more. It's a great opportunity to meet local entrepreneurs and stock up on unique, high-quality items created right in the region.

Admission is free, thanks to sponsorship from a local savings plan. Shopping hours are Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT).

Please note, pets and emotional support animals are not allowed, but service dogs are welcome.

For vendors, registration opens on May 9, 2024, and closes on October 21, 2024. Booths are available for $150 each, with a maximum of three booths per vendor. Each booth includes a 10x10-foot space, pipe and drape setup, two chairs, and a company sign. Additional amenities such as tables, tablecloths, and electrical services are available for an extra fee. Setup will take place on October 24 and 25 before the event starts.

Get ready to showcase and shop local. Visit the website to register for the event.
