New Online Soil Resource Supports Better Farming Decisions

North Dakota farmers and agricultural professionals have access to a new online resource that focuses on soil health, soil fertility, and crop production.

The resource is developed by Dave Franzen, a former North Dakota State University Extension specialist and professor. Even after retiring from NDSU Extension, he continues sharing his expertise with the agricultural community. Drawing from more than five decades of experience, he has compiled his knowledge into a publication titled “The North Dakota Soil and Fertilizer Resource.”

The online publication serves as a useful guide for farmers, agronomists, scientists, crop consultants, and industry professionals. It covers a wide range of topics connected to North Dakota agriculture and provides information that can help improve soil management and crop productivity.
