Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring recently announced the recipients of the North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission (APUC) awards. These grants, totaling $426,932, were approved during the APUC quarterly meeting held on May 18 in Dickinson.
The APUC, a program under the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, administers grant programs aimed at fostering research and development for new and expanded uses of agricultural products in the state. These initiatives contribute to the growth of rural communities and agricultural operations by supporting the development of innovative concepts and products. The grants cover various areas, including research, marketing, farm diversification, agritourism, technology development, and technical assistance.
The following projects received approval for funding:
