Ag Innovation Challenge Deadline Extended Nationwide

Ag Innovation Challenge Deadline Extended Nationwide

By Jamie Martin

The American Farm Bureau Federation, in partnership with Farm Credit, has extended the application deadline for the 2026 Ag Innovation Challenge to June 15.

This national competition is designed to support startups and entrepreneurs who are developing innovative solutions to agricultural challenges.

The Ag Innovation Challenge is open to early-stage businesses across all areas of agriculture, including livestock, specialty crops, row crops, and aquaculture.

Organizers are encouraging companies that have identified a need in agriculture and are working on creative solutions to step forward.

The competition offers significant financial support to help promising startups grow. The grand prize winner will receive $100,000, the runner-up will get $25,000, and two additional finalists will each earn $10,000.

Along with cash prizes, participants will benefit from training sessions and investor networking opportunities.

The extended deadline provides entrepreneurs more time to finalize and submit strong applications. The challenge serves as a platform for innovation and rural development, while also offering national recognition to those shaping the future of farming.

All interested startups must apply by June 15 by visiting the official Ag Innovation Challenge page at fb.org/challenge.

The competition highlights the Farm Bureau’s commitment to fostering innovation that benefits farmers, ranchers, and rural communities across the United States.

With more time to apply, ag innovators have a unique opportunity to share their solutions and gain the support needed to bring their ideas to life.
