41 Percent of N.D. Winter Wheat Good to Excellent

For the week ending Sunday, there were 5.3 days suitable for fieldwork, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Topsoil moisture supplies rated 29% very short, 40% short, 30% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 27% very short, 38% short, 33% adequate, and 2% surplus.

Winter wheat condition rated 4% very poor, 5% poor, 50% fair, 39% good, and 2% excellent.

Pasture and range conditions rated 16% very poor, 32% poor, 39% fair, 12% good, and 1% excellent.

Stock water supplies rated 13% very short, 34% short, 53% adequate, and 0% surplus.
