Diving into the Field Crops Report:
Soybeans: 95% harvested, closely tailing last year's 98%, yet surpassing the five-year average of 81%.
Winter Wheat: General condition looks promising, with 99% planted, matching the long-term average. Around 88% has sprouted, closely aligning with previous years.
Corn: 57% harvested, lagging last year’s 70%, but still ahead of the average rate.
Sugarbeets: A commendable 99% harvested, edging out the previous year and significantly surpassing the average.
Sunflowers: Their health seems excellent, with 97% showing the maturity sign of turned brown bracts. The harvesting pace is slow at 38%, trailing both last year and the typical average.
Flaxseed: 97% harvested, consistent with past years.
Pasture conditions in North Dakota are largely favorable, with many rated as 'good'. Stock water supplies, essential for livestock, are mainly adequate, reflecting a positive agricultural climate in the state.
