The North Dakota Stockmen’s Foundation (NDSF) proudly awarded ten scholarships during the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association’s 95th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Bismarck, N.D. These scholarships aim to support students committed to agricultural education and careers within the beef industry.
Five Legacy Scholarships were awarded to outstanding students: Savanna Bader and Trenton Erbele from Lehr, Cheyanne Lindgren from Ashley, Abby Rivinius from Gackle, and Karlee Sailer from Golden Valley.
Bader, a sophomore studying animal science at North Dakota State University (NDSU), has demonstrated leadership as her FFA chapter's president and is actively involved in various college organizations.
Erbele is pursuing electric technology at North Dakota State College of Science and aims to apply his skills in the agricultural sector.
Lindgren and Rivinius, both nursing students at Bismarck State College, aspire to integrate healthcare and agriculture in their careers.
Sailer is a senior at Dickinson State University studying agribusiness management, planning to continue her family’s cattle operation after graduation.
The Myron Wold Scholarship was awarded to Teagan Erbele and Hadly Erickson. Teagan studies agriculture education at NDSU and is deeply involved in FFA, while Erickson is studying agribusiness at BSC and competes on the rodeo team.
Sydney Tastad-Flax received the Tokach Angus Ranch Memorial Scholarship, pursuing a master’s in animal science at Kansas State University. Ty MacDonald, a sophomore at NDSU, received the Endowment Scholarship for his studies in animal sciences.
Lastly, Lilly Solemsaas was awarded the Jack and Vander Reich Memorial Scholarship, supporting her studies in agricultural education at Northeastern Junior College.
The NDSF will continue to support aspiring agricultural leaders, with scholarship applications for 2025 available at www.ndstockmen.org/foundation, with a deadline of March 1, 2025.
