NDSU Extension will host Getting It Right in Flax and Dry Bean Production webinars to provide crop advisers and producers with research-based recommendations for the 2025 growing season.
The flax production webinar, sponsored by Ameriplex, will be held on February 4 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Central time. The dry bean production webinar, sponsored by the Northarvest Bean Growers Association, will follow on February 10 at the same time.
“These educational webinars will provide research updates and recommendations that can help farmers with production decisions for the 2025 growing season,” says Ana Carcedo, NDSU Extension broadleaf crops agronomist.
Each session will be hosted via Zoom, featuring expert presentations from NDSU specialists on key topics such as agronomy, pest and disease management, and market outlooks. The webinars will conclude with a live Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with experts.
Attendees can also earn Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) continuing education credits by joining the live session.
The webinars are free to attend, but pre-registration is required at ndsu.ag/gir. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link and instructions via email.
A future Getting It Right webinar on canola production is scheduled for March 14.
