The North Dakota State University (NDSU) Extension is set to host its annual Getting It Right crop production webinar series, offering valuable, research-based recommendations for farmers and crop advisers. These sessions will help producers make informed decisions ahead of the 2026 growing season.
Running from December 2025 through March 2026, the webinars will feature presentations by NDSU Extension experts on agronomic best practices, pest and disease management, soil health, and market outlooks. Each session will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing participants to interact directly with specialists.
The series is sponsored by the North Dakota Soybean Council, Northarvest Bean Growers Association, National Sunflower Association, North Dakota Corn Utilization Council, and Northern Canola Growers Association.
Ana Carcedo, NDSU Extension broadleaf crops agronomist, emphasized that the webinars aim to keep producers informed with the latest university research and management tools.
Experts such as Brady Goettl (soil science), Joe Ikley (weed science), Janet Knodel (entomology), and Frayne Olson (crop economics) will lead discussions on production strategies, pest control, and market forecasts.
Participation in the webinars is free but requires preregistration. After registering, participants will receive a Zoom link and instructions via email. Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) continuing education credits will also be available for attendees.
