North Dakota State University (NDSU) Extension invites farmers and crop advisers to a critical webinar focused on dry bean production. Scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, at 8:30 a.m., this virtual event is a must-attend for those seeking research-backed guidance for the 2024 growing season.
Organized in collaboration with the Northarvest Bean Growers Association, the webinar will be held exclusively online via Zoom. Greg Endres, an Extension cropping systems specialist, emphasizes the webinar's role in equipping participants with the latest research updates and production recommendations.
The session will feature NDSU crop specialists and scientists who will delve into crucial topics. These include variety selection, plant establishment, soil management, plant nutrition, and strategies for weed and disease management. Insights into current market trends will also be a significant focus.
This interactive event offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage directly with experts, asking questions and gaining deeper insights. For those unable to attend the live session, recordings will be available at www.ndsu.edu/agriculture/ag-hub/getting-it-right.
Certified crop advisers attending the live event can earn continuing education credits. While the webinar is free, pre-registration is mandatory. Registrants will receive all necessary instructions and the Zoom link via email.
Further enriching NDSU's outreach, upcoming webinars in the "Getting It Right" series will cover sunflower production on February 27 and canola on March 12.
