Free Soil Health Workshop 2025 Includes Demos Lunch and CEUs

By Scout Nelson

Farmers, ranchers, agronomists, and community members are invited to join the 2025 Soil Health Workshop on September 17, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. MDT at the Ag Building Auditorium, 400 State Avenue, Dickinson, North Dakota.

This free event is hosted by the NDSU Dickinson Research Extension Center, Dickinson State University, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. The workshop highlights the direct link between healthy soil, nutritious food, resilient farms, and thriving ecosystems.

Participants will gain knowledge from expert presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and networking sessions with regional specialists. Certified Crop Advisers can also earn continuing education units (CEUs) during the event. To make the day even more welcoming, a complimentary lunch will be provided by the Bravera Bank & Trust Grill Team.

The agenda focuses on soil health principles, practical strategies that farmers can apply on their land, and the latest findings from agricultural research. Field demonstrations will help attendees see soil health practices in action, turning scientific concepts into real-world farming solutions.

The event is designed to connect producers and agricultural experts in a learning environment that supports collaboration. By attending, participants will discover methods to improve soil quality, increase productivity, and contribute to sustainable food systems.

The 2025 Soil Health Workshop is not just about learning new practices but also about building relationships across the agricultural community. Farmers and ranchers will leave with tools, knowledge, and connections to strengthen their operations for the future.
