The USDA Farm Service Agency announced the appointment of five agriculture leaders to serve on the North Dakota state committee. The committee plays an important role in supporting farm programs and improving service delivery for producers.
Members of the committee are appointed by Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins. They oversee farm programs, handle appeals, and work with industry partners to ensure farmers and ranchers receive the support they need. The committee also helps keep producers informed about current programs and policies.
The North Dakota committee includes Erika Jo Kenner as chair, along with members Dustin Johnsrud, Jeremy Kihne, Daniel Price, and Barton Schott. Each member brings strong experience in agriculture, including crop production, livestock management, and farm leadership.
Kenner is a farmer and rancher who manages grain and livestock operations. Johnsrud focuses on grain farming and has experience in agricultural boards and committees. Kihne manages both crop and livestock operations and brings knowledge in farm production. Price has long experience in cattle production and business management. Schott has decades of farming experience and has served in leadership roles within the agriculture industry.
“These individuals, selected by Secretary Rollins in partnership with key stakeholders in each state, are held in high regard in the agriculture industry and are entrusted to ensure FSA programs are delivered in a manner consistent with federal farm policy and in the best interest of all agricultural producers in their state,” said FSA Administrator Bill Beam. “Their appointment to the FSA state committee is a testament to their standing in the industry and their dedication to the agriculture industry, rural America and President Trump’s America First, Farmers First policies.”
The Farm Service Agency continues to support farmers, ranchers, and landowners by offering programs that improve and protect agricultural operations. Through its network of offices, the agency helps manage loans, conservation efforts, and disaster recovery programs.
