The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is offering free training for produce growers to enhance their knowledge of key agricultural practices. The session, which will be held remotely on Wednesday, January 15, aims to provide growers with valuable information on topics such as produce safety, worker health, soil amendments, and more.
The session is open to all U.S. residents, but non-produce growers will be charged for course materials. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.
Interested participants can register online using the provided link: https://forms.office.com/g/Ct33hhgg5z. This training session is an excellent opportunity for growers to learn from experts and gain insights that can help improve their operations.
For any questions about the session or the FSMA Produce Safety Rule, attendees can reach out to Katrina Hanenberg at 701-328-2307 or by email at kmhanenberg@nd.gov. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support agricultural professionals with the latest knowledge and practices in the field.
