Garden enthusiasts are in for a treat as North Dakota State University Extension unveils its Spring Fever Garden Forums, set to run from March 25 through April 15. These interactive online forums, scheduled for Monday evenings between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. CDT, promise a wealth of knowledge on a broad spectrum of gardening topics.
Attendees will delve into the art of growing fruits and vegetables, dividing perennial flowers, enhancing garden soil, and attracting vital pollinators among other gardening essentials.
Tom Kalb, an esteemed NDSU Extension horticulturist, encourages gardeners to seize this unique opportunity to tap into the latest horticultural research and directly engage with experts.
"This is a fantastic way for gardeners to stay abreast of the newest gardening techniques and trends," Kalb notes, emphasizing the interactive nature of the sessions where participants can pose questions to the experts in real time.
The forums are accessible not only online for home gardeners but also hosted at 24 county NDSU Extension offices throughout North Dakota, where participants can enjoy the added perk of free seed distribution.
With over 800 gardeners expected to participate this spring, the forums are shaping up to be a bustling hub of gardening enthusiasm and learning.
Participation in the Spring Fever Garden Forums is complimentary, making it an accessible resource for gardeners at all levels of expertise.
