The North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission (APUC) is scheduled to meet on July 20 and July 21, 2026, to review agricultural project proposals and discuss funding decisions. The meetings will take place at the Rough Riders Hotel Conference Room in Medora, North Dakota.
The commission meeting begins at 1:50 p.m. MST on Monday, July 20, 2026, with officer elections, business discussions, financial reviews, ethics guidelines, application updates, and other administrative topics. Members will also review funding authority and future meeting plans before considering project proposals from applicants across the state.
During the first day of the meeting, several organizations and businesses will present projects focused on agricultural research, marketing, utilization, farm diversification, and nature-based agri-tourism. North Dakota State University in Fargo will present a Basic and Applied Research project with a total project cost of $87,738 and a funding request of $70,190.
Other Monday presentations include Red River Regional Council in Grafton, G2 Farms in Benedict, Green Growth Innovations Inc. in Fargo and Grand River Honey Co. in Hettinger. These projects include marketing programs, agricultural tourism efforts, innovation projects, and farm diversification plans. Total project costs range from $3,750 to $575,702.19, with funding requests from $3,000 to $250,000.
The second day of the meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. MST on Tuesday, July 21,2026. The commission will review additional proposals from Legendary Greens, Minn-Dak Farmers’ Cooperative, 701x Inc, Greenfield Robotics and JML Soaps LLC.
The Tuesday projects focus on marketing and utilization, prototype development and nature-based agri-tourism. Total project costs include $86,236.61 for Legendary Greens, $250,000 for Minn-Dak Farmers’ Cooperative, $2,025,000 for 701x Inc, $269,000 for Greenfield Robotics and $50,000 for JML Soaps LLC. Funding requests range from $40,000 to $250,000.
Following project discussions, the commission will make funding decisions during lunch before concluding the meeting.
