NDSU Ag Day Offers Free Learning Event

By Scout Nelson

The 2025 Central Dakota Ag Day will take place at the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center, offering producers, agronomists, and students an opportunity to learn, connect, and share insights about the latest developments in North Dakota agriculture.

This annual event serves as a hub for farmers and agricultural professionals to explore new research, technologies, and management practices that improve productivity and sustainability in the Central Dakota region.

Attendees can look forward to a series of presentations and discussions led by NDSU Extension specialists and agricultural experts, covering topics such as crop management, soil health, pest control, and emerging farm technologies.

A sponsored lunch will be provided to all participants, offering a chance for informal networking among attendees, educators, and agribusiness representatives. Importantly, no registration is required, making the event easily accessible to anyone interested in attending.

Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs) will also have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits, helping them stay up to date with current agricultural trends and maintain professional certification requirements.

For additional details or to request accommodations related to disabilities, participants can contact Jeff Gale at jeff.gale@ndsu.edu or 701-652-2581. Requests for accommodations should be made at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure proper arrangements.

The Central Dakota Ag Day continues to strengthen ties between North Dakota’s agricultural community, research institutions, and farm professionals by promoting shared learning and innovation for a more productive and sustainable future.
