Fendt Tour Brings Advanced Harvest Tools to North Dakota

By Scout Nelson

AGCO is bringing the 2026 Fendt Harvest Tour to North Dakota as part of an 11-stop road tour across the American heartland. The tour focuses on farmers, harvest equipment, and connected technology that help bring crops from the field to the grain system.

The North Dakota stop features Lund Legacy Farm in Enderlin on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The event gives local farmers an opportunity to see the Fendt IDEAL combine working in real harvest conditions. The tour also shows how modern farm technology can help operators save time, improve efficiency, and manage long harvest days.

The Fendt Harvest Tour is built around the theme of “Real Harvest Stories.” Each stop places the IDEAL combine in a working farm setting where farmers can see its performance in actual field conditions. In North Dakota, the focus is on giving producers a practical look at the equipment and technology used during harvest.

The Fendt IDEAL combine includes several features designed to make harvesting easier. The IDEALdrive joystick steering system provides operators with a clear view of the field and can help reduce tiredness during long hours in the cab.

The combine also has a 485-bushel grain tank. It can empty the tank in about 81 seconds, helping crews move grain quickly when harvest conditions are limited. Fast unloading can be important when farmers need to make the most of short harvest windows.

Another key feature is IDEALharvest automation. The system continuously adjusts to combine settings to help maintain grain quality and support steady performance. This technology allows operators to spend less time making manual adjustments while the machine works through changing field conditions.

Fendt also supports the combine with Gold Star Customer Care. The program includes three years or 1,250 hours of warranty coverage, scheduled maintenance, loaner support and a parts guarantee. These services are designed to give farmers additional support while using the equipment.

Fuel efficiency and harvest capacity are also important parts of the IDEAL combine. By helping farmers cover more acres and manage operating costs, the machine is designed to provide value for farms of different sizes.

The technology connected to the combine extends beyond the cab. PTx OutRun autonomy can help move a grain cart beside the combine without requiring a second driver. The system is designed to move grain between the field edge and the combine, which can help address labor needs during busy harvest periods.

Precision Planting’s YieldSense system also provides useful information during harvest. The 20|20 monitor can show yield by crop variety, giving farmers more information about field performance. This data can help producers understand which areas and crop varieties perform well.

Aurora, AGCO’s artificial intelligence assistant within Panorama, connects farm data to help support faster decisions. Together, these tools show how modern farming systems can bring machines, field information, and automation into one connected operation.

“Harvest is where a full year of work comes together, and it’s where Fendt technology proves itself in the moments that matter most,” said Kevin Forth, Senior Tactical Marketing Manager at AGCO. “The Fendt Harvest Tour highlights hardworking farm families and shows how performance, efficiency and operator-focused innovation can make a real difference in the field.”

The North Dakota stop at Lund Legacy Farm gives local producers a chance to experience Fendt equipment directly. Farmers can observe the IDEAL combine, learn about its automation features, and see how connected technology supports harvesting work.

The tour also reflects AGCO’s Farmer-First philosophy. Its goal is to put farmers and their needs at the center of equipment development and technology. By bringing the machine into working fields, the tour allows farmers to see how the equipment performs beyond a showroom setting.

For North Dakota farmers, harvest technology can play an important role in managing labor, time, fuel, and grain quality. Tools such as automated combine settings, autonomous grain cart operation, and digital yield monitoring can help farmers make informed decisions during one of the busiest times of the year.

The 2026 Fendt Harvest Tour therefore combines farmer experience with modern equipment and connected technology. The North Dakota stop provides producers with a closer look at how the Fendt IDEAL combine can support faster, easier and more efficient harvest operations.

The Fendt Harvest Tour also continues through social media and Fendt’s online platforms, where viewers can follow harvest stories, see equipment performance and learn more about the IDEAL combine.
