The Cavalier County Farm Bureau, in collaboration with NDSU Extension, will host a Farm Safety & Stop the Bleed Training on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST at the Langdon Research Extension Center, located at 9280 107th Ave NE, Langdon, ND.
This free, hands-on event is designed to provide farm families and community members with essential safety knowledge and life-saving skills.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in practical “Stop the Bleed” training, learn how to use and maintain farm first-aid kits, and take part in a CPR refresher course. In addition, the event will feature safety resource booths where participants can explore tools, tips, and activities to enhance safety awareness on the farm.
Lunch will be provided at no cost, and there is no registration fee for attending. Organizers encourage participants to register in advance to ensure sufficient materials and meals for everyone.
This training is an excellent opportunity for anyone involved in farming or rural community life to strengthen their emergency response skills, improve on-farm safety practices, and connect with local experts.
