4-H and FFA Livestock Judging Workout

4-H and FFA Livestock Judging Workout

North Dakota 4-H and FFA livestock judging teams are invited to join the NDSU Department of Animal Sciences and the NDSU Livestock Judging Club for a day of learning and practice evaluation. This event is the perfect opportunity for 4-H and FFA teams to improve their livestock evaluation skills ahead of state competitions.

Attendees will learn more about cattle, swine and sheep, and practice evaluating six classes of livestock, including two beef cattle, two swine and two sheep. Official placings will be available for use at the coach's discretion, and NDSU Animal Sciences staff will provide informal reason critiques. NDSU Livestock Judging Club members will also be available to help.
