The Northarvest Bean Growers Association, Fargo, N.D., awarded $2,000 scholarships to two North Dakota natives -- Skyler Jo Uglem of Northwood and Juan Cronquist of Gilby.
Both scholarship recipients attend North Dakota State University. Uglem is pursuing a degree in psychology and pre-medicine, and Cronquist is majoring in Agribusiness and finance.
Northarvest Bean Growers Association has awarded two scholarships annually for the past six years. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, a parent or grandparent must be a current grower member of the NBGA.
