Gov. Doug Burgum on Oct. 19 will join Grand Farm board members, state and federal officials and former governors for a groundbreaking ceremony at Grand Farm's Innovation Facility Site near Casselton.
Scheduled speakers include Burgum, former Gov. Jack Dalrymple, current U.S. Sen. and former Gov. John Hoeven, former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and former Gov. Ed Schafer, state Reps. Don Vigesaa and Scott Meyer, entrepreneur Gary Tharaldson and Grand Farm board members Sara Lovas and Taya Spelhaug. Autonomous technology demonstrations will follow the groundbreaking.
The event begins at 11 a.m. Central.
The Grand Farm Innovation Facility Site, just south of I-94 Exit 328 (Lynchburg exit).
