The North Dakota 4-H Ambassadors are preparing to host the second annual Luhman Ranch Shoot, a fun and engaging archery event scheduled for June 21. Open to the public, the shoot takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tammy Luhman’s family ranch near Gladstone, just outside Dickinson, North Dakota.
This event is designed to support 4-H youth programming across the state. It serves as a fundraiser for the North Dakota 4-H Ambassadors, a group of young leaders who organize educational events, retreats, and service activities like the annual Extension Youth Conference.
The archery shoot will feature lifelike 3D targets along scenic trails, creating an enjoyable experience for competitive archers and families alike. The ranch provides beautiful views and challenging courses, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced shooters.
There will be separate divisions for freestyle and barebow styles. Entry fees are set at $25 for non-4-H youth and $30 for adults. Current 4-H members enjoy a discounted rate of $20.
Participants will also enjoy concessions and prizes throughout the day. In addition to the excitement of the shoot, winners will earn bragging rights and recognition.
Tammy Luhman, a longtime 4-H supporter, is proud to host this event on her ranch, helping to raise funds that benefit young leaders across North Dakota.
