The Farm Business Management and Environmental Systems teams have recently welcomed three new members. These professionals bring valuable skills and experience to enhance support for dairy businesses and sustainability initiatives.
The Farm Business Management team has expanded with two new members. One team member will provide administrative support for key programs, including the Dairy Farm Business Summary and Analysis (DFBS) and Dairy Profit Monitor.
This individual will also assist with discussion groups and activity analysis projects. Another addition will work on similar projects while contributing to the Dairy Advancement Program, which promotes dairy farm profitability and environmental responsibility.
The DFBS is a long-standing program that benchmarks financial performance for dairy farms, using data to drive improvements in financial and business management. The Dairy Profit Monitor is a digital tool offering monthly snapshots of farm performance, allowing producers to assess trends, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
The Dairy Advancement Program, in collaboration with state agencies, focuses on profitability while upholding environmental standards.
The Dairy Environmental Systems team has also added a new member to support research and outreach efforts. This individual brings expertise in environmental conservation, regenerative farming, and livestock management. The team collaborates with experts to develop innovative solutions for manure management, energy systems, and environmental compliance, promoting efficiency and sustainability in the dairy industry.
These new team members will strengthen efforts to support dairy farms in improving financial management, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability, ensuring long-term growth for the dairy sector.
