North Dakota State University (NDSU) Extension is organizing a two-part interactive workshop titled "The Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing." This workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, and Thursday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CDT at the Morton Mandan Public Library.
The workshop is designed to help participants, regardless of their experience level, learn the essential skills needed to prepare and submit a professional grant proposal. It is particularly beneficial for agricultural producers, nonprofit workers, educators, community club members, and local government employees.
The workshop will cover key topics such as developing grant ideas, identifying funding sources, and understanding the proposal process.
On September 25, attendees will start with an idea and leave with a detailed proposal outline. They will return on October 23 with a draft proposal ready for peer review. A professional review of the draft is also included in the workshop.
The workshop fee is $150, covering lunch and all materials. Space is limited to 25 participants, and registration is required by September 7. To register, visit ndsu.ag/grant-writing.
