Dr. Magan Lewis, equipment and automated field sensing lead from Bayer Crop Science, will be at NDSU on Oct. 14, to present a session open to all students, faculty and staff titled: Ignite Your Spark: Uplifting the Next Generation of Leaders in Agriculture. Lewis will be sharing her experiences and inspiring students, faculty and staff with her unique leadership approach.
Lewis is a North Dakota native and graduated from NDSU with a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences in 2012. Since then, she has become a highly recognized female scientific leader and STEM advocate. She has been named Des Moines Business Record's Forty under 40, and most recently recognized as one of the 10 next generation leaders in the 2022 Seed World magazine.
Following the seminar, Lewis will be signing free copies of Seed World Magazine.
