Farmers and crop advisers looking for expert guidance on canola production can join NDSU Extension’s Getting It Right in Canola Production webinar on March 14. The event, sponsored by the Northern Canola Growers Association, will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon (Central time).
“These educational webinars will provide research updates and recommendations that can help farmers with production decisions for the 2025 growing season,” said Ana Carcedo, NDSU Extension broadleaf crops agronomist.
Experts from NDSU, including Brian Jenks, Venkata Chapara, Anitha Chirumamilla, David Ripplinger, Janet Knodel, and Frayne Olson, will present insights on agronomy, pest control, disease management, and market trends.
The webinar, held via Zoom, will conclude with a live Q&A session where participants can interact with the speakers. Certified crop advisers attending the live session will also earn continuing education credits.
The event is free, but preregistration is required at ndsu.ag/gir. Registrants will receive a Zoom link and instructions via email. For further details, contact Ana Carcedo at 701-831-5796 or email a.carcedo@ndsu.edu.
