2025 Food and Soil Webinar Series

2025 Food and Soil Webinar Series

By Scout Nelson

The 2025 “Field to Fork Wednesday Weekly Webinars” bring exciting learning opportunities to anyone interested in agriculture, food safety, and soil health. This informative series runs every Wednesday, starting February 12 and continuing through May 7. These sessions are designed for learners of all ages, including school students, and cover a wide range of useful topics.

So far, many informative topics have been covered, helping viewers gain practical knowledge related to agriculture and food systems. On April 23, there was no webinar scheduled. However, the series returns on April 30 with a session titled “Food Preservation Toolkit.” This session teaches easy and safe ways to preserve food at home, which is especially useful for reducing waste and saving money.

The final webinar of the season will be held on May 7. Titled “Healthy Soil, Healthy Food,” this presentation highlights the importance of maintaining healthy soil for producing nutritious food. It explains how good soil supports better crops and healthier diets.

The Field to Fork webinars are an excellent way to learn new skills, explore agricultural topics, and improve food-related knowledge. Whether you're interested in preserving vegetables or understanding the link between soil and food, this series has something for you.

All materials are available online, making it easy to catch up or review information at your own pace. Stay informed, stay healthy, and keep learning every Wednesday with Field to Fork.
