Governor, First Lady to Host Recovery Reinvented Sept. 26

Recovery Reinvented will feature facilitated conversations with state and national recovery experts on how to reinvent addiction recovery in North Dakota through innovative implementation. Approximately 600 people are expected to attend. The governor and first lady support the full continuum of care (prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery). This event is an opportunity to focus on reinventing recovery.

Hosted by Gov. Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum, additional national and state speakers will address specific topics including recovery community organizations, criminal justice reform and re-entry, sober living and Native American recovery.

The event is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 26. Doors open at the Bismarck Event Center at 8 a.m. with the event beginning at 8:30 a.m.
