State Soybean Stocks Down 39 Percent

North Dakota corn stocks stored in all positions on June 1, 2020 totaled 174 million bushels, up 20% from a year ago, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. On-farm stocks of 125 million bushels are up 9% from 2019, and off-farm stocks of 48.7 million bushels are up 63% from last year.

All wheat stored in all positions totaled 153 million bushels, up 3% from a year ago. On-farm stocks of 102 million bushels are up 12% from 2019, but off-farm stocks of 50.5 million bushels are down 11% from last year.

Durum wheat stored in all positions totaled 15.2 million bushels, down 31% from a year ago.

Barley stored in all positions totaled 16.0 million bushels, down 18% from 2019. On-farm stocks are 7.80 million bushels, up 26% from last year, but off-farm stocks, at 8.19 million bushels, are down 38% from last year.

Soybeans stored in all positions totaled 50.3 million bushels, down 39% from last year. On-farm stocks, at 29.0 million bushels, are down 25% from a year ago, and off-farm stocks, at 21.3 million bushels, are down 52% from 2019.

Oats stored in all positions totaled 2.13 million bushels, up 10% from last year. On-farm stocks, at 1.80 million bushels, are up 20% from a year ago, but off-farm stocks of 334,000 bushels, are down 24% from 2019.
