Hoeven to Dedicate Central Power Electric Transmission Line

On Feb. 19, Senator John Hoeven will mark the completion of Central Power Electric Cooperative's transmission line in Minot.
Hoeven will mark the completion of Central Power's 26.8 mile long transmission line powered by Verendrye Electric Cooperative. As chairman of Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, the senator was able to secure funding for this project from USDA's Rural Utilities Service.
The senator will highlight the new line's ability to provide reliable service to western and northern areas around Minot including households, businesses and the Minot Air Force Base.
The event begins at 10:30 a.m. CT at the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, Second floor of Bremer Hall, 6301 19th Ave. NW, Minot.
