Extension Extends 'Ag Challenges' Webinar Series Today

Due to the popularity of the Fall Agriculture Challenges webinar series, North Dakota State University Extension has extended it.

The series features topic related to this year's difficult growing season and harvest conditions across North Dakota.

"This webinar will give North Dakota producers a chance to learn about ways to deal with challenges impacting both crop and livestock production and the well-being of their families," says Miranda Meehan, NDSU Extension livestock environmental stewardship specialist. "Please join us to learn more about options and discuss your concerns."

Webinar dates and topics that will be covered are:

- Nov. 12, swath grazing unharvested crops and forages

- Nov. 13, connecting with resources for rural stress and health

- Nov. 14, weaning calves

All of the webinars will start at noon Central Standard Time. NDSU Extension specialists will present live and be available to answer questions.

The topics of previous webinars in this series were managing unharvested wheat, considerations for cow-calf management, assessing and stretching forage supplies, crop insurance considerations, and harvesting and drying corn, soybeans and sunflowers.
