NDFB Ag Photo Contest Winners Announced

NDFB's Promotion and Education Committee announced the winners of its 2021 NDFB agriculture photo contest.

This year's contest included three categories: animals, family, and farm/landscape. Each winner will receive $300.

Juanita Hoff-Benson from Richardton, N.D., won the animal category with a black and white photo of a horse and young girl gently resting their foreheads together.

Winner of the family category is Jeremy Albright of Lake Park, Minn. Albright's photo captures a silhouette of a wakeboarder taking in the beauty of a North Dakota summer sunrise.

The winning landscape/farm photo was from Becky Graner of Mandan, N.D. Graner's photo is of an old farm truck parked beneath the North Dakota starlit sky. Neighbors were raking hay and the light from their tractor highlighted the hill side and truck.

Of the three winners, Becky Graner won overall champion. Her photo will be made into a canvas print and auctioned off at the NDFB Promotion and Education live auction, during the NDFB Annual Meeting in Fargo, to raise money for NDFB scholarships.

This is the sixth year of the NDFB P&E Committee photo contest and entry numbers have more than trippled since the start. Each year brings in photos from across the state capturing the unique landscapes and beauty within North Dakota.
