Pneumonia Continues to Plague North Dakota Bighorn Sheep

Bighorn sheep were extirpated from North Dakota by 1905 then reintroduced in 1956. Bighorns were doing well in the state when, in 2014, a pneumonia causing pathogen got into the population.

It has since spread to every herd in the state. Find out how this disease continues to impact bighorns in North Dakota and what the Department is doing to manage the population in this week's webcast.
