PDPW Webinar Series Focuses on Financials
USAgNet - 01/28/2020

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin will continue its current World-Class Webinar series on developing strategies to fine-tune your dairy farm's financials and mitigate rising costs

The second program will be held February 5, where financial expert Jason Karszes of the PRO-DAIRY Program at Cornell University will distinguished what makes the top 20 percent of farms different than the rest.

"It's good business strategy to set a goal to perform in the top percentiles for dairy financial performance. However, in any given year, different management approaches might generate different results," Karszes said. "We'll delineate fundamental strategies that distinguished the top 20 percent of farms from 2013-2018 and learn about what areas are different and some of the management strategies being utilized to generate these differences."

The presentation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The cost to participate in the on-line interactive program for PDPW members is $100 per registered computer. Non-members can join in for $125. There is no limit to the number of people who wish to share one computer for the program.

Interested participants must have a high-speed Internet connection and must pre-register. For more information or to sign-up for the next PDPW Webinar series, call 800-947-7379 or go to: www.pdpw.org.
