Kwik Trip to Acquire Stop-N-Go C-Store Chain
USAgNet - 07/30/2020

The La Crosse-based Kwik Trip convenience store chain is acquiring another gas and c-store company. According to a Kwik Trip press release, the company will take over the assets of Stop-N-Go Convenience Centers of Madison.

Stop-N-Go operates 36 convenience stores in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The move gives Kwik Trip an opportunity to expand its presence as one of the largest independently held convenience stores in the nation. It currently operates more than 700 locations.

"When selecting the right buyer, it was important for us that the Stop-N-Go brand be continued," said Stop-N-Go CEO Andrew Bowman. "All of us at Stop-N-Go have a great deal of pride and sense of accomplishment because our efforts built a brand worthy of continuing under the new ownership of Kwik Trip."

The transaction is scheduled to be completed before the end of the year.
